Sony Fe 35 F1.4

Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM is a full-frame E-mount prime lens from Sony’s G Master series. Its 35mm focal length offers a versatile perspective for street photography, portraits, travel, events, and video. The bright F1.4 maximum aperture provides strong low-light performance and allows precise depth-of-field control. Moreover, its 11-blade circular aperture helps create smooth background bokeh. The optical design uses 14 elements in 10 groups, including two XA elements and one ED element. These elements help maintain high resolution while controlling distortion and chromatic aberration. Sony Nano AR Coating II helps reduce flare and ghosting. Therefore, the lens maintains contrast when shooting in challenging lighting conditions. Dual XD Linear Motors provide fast, precise, and quiet autofocus. The system also supports subject tracking for photography and video. The lens focuses as close as 0.27m in autofocus mode and 0.25m in manual focus. Maximum magnification reaches 0.23x with AF and 0.26x with MF. The lens includes dust- and moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating on the front element. It also features a focus hold button and professional controls. At 524g, the lens remains relatively compact for an F1.4 full-frame prime. It uses a 67mm filter and measures 76 × 96mm. Manufacturer’s link Check out other options here!
