The Sony FE 20-70mm F4 G is a full-frame standard zoom lens for Sony E-mount cameras. It provides a 20-70mm range with a constant F4 maximum aperture. The optical design uses 16 elements in 13 groups. It includes two advanced aspherical elements and three ED glass elements. It also provides customizable focus-hold buttons and separate focus, zoom, and aperture rings. Moreover, the aperture uses nine blades. The minimum focusing distance is 0.30m at 20mm and 0.25m at 70mm. The maximum magnification reaches 0.39x. In addition, the lens accepts 72mm filters. The lens has dust- and moisture-resistant construction. It measures approximately 78.7 × 99mm and weighs approximately 488g. However, Sony does not guarantee complete dust or moisture protection.
