Why we built it
Buying a laptop, a phone or a fridge in Lebanon usually means opening a dozen tabs, messaging shops, and still not knowing if you paid too much. Prices for the very same model swing a lot from one store to the next.
LebTech does the tedious part for you. Every day we read the listings of 181+ shops, work out which ones are actually the same product, and line them up cheapest-first, so the best price is the first thing you see.
Our one promise
The genuinely cheapest price always wins. No shop can pay us to look cheaper than it is, or to hide a competitor's lower price. That honesty is the entire point of LebTech. We'll never sell it.

How we check prices
LebTech pages are built automatically from what shops list on their own websites. Here is exactly what happens between a shop's page and ours.
- Which shops
- 181 Lebanese shops that sell electronics online with their prices on the page. We add a shop when we can read its prices reliably, and hide it when we no longer can (a broken site, a page that blocks us, prices that stop updating).
- How often
- Every night we re-read the products of the shops we list (a few hard-to-reach shops less often): the price, whether it is in stock, and whether it is still listed at all. Each price on our pages says when we last checked it.
- What counts as the same product
- We read each listing's title and specs to find the exact model and configuration (for a laptop: processor, memory, storage, graphics and condition). Two listings only appear side by side when those match; a different configuration goes under "Other versions" instead.
- How the list is sorted
- Cheapest first. Offers we saw in stock in the last 48 hours come before sold-out or older ones, so the top row is always one you can buy today. Where a shop lists its price before VAT, we add the VAT (11%) so every row compares like for like. No shop can pay to rank higher, and paid plans for shops never change the order of a product's shop list.
- Prices we leave out
- A price under 40% of the usual price for the same product is almost always a misread or a different item (a part, a deposit, a used unit). We drop it from the comparison and the price history rather than show a deal that isn't there.
- Price history, the verdict and the price log
- For each product we keep the lowest in-stock price across shops for every day of the last 90 days. That is the chart, the "Is this a good price?" verdict (today's lowest against its usual price over that time) and the price log (cuts, raises, back in stock, new shops). Only the cheaper side is ever named: a shop that raises its price or sells out stays anonymous.
- What people check
- The matching and the pages are automatic. Our team in Beirut reads every report buyers send from a product page (wrong price, wrong stock, not the same product), fixes the match or the shop's data, and approves any buyer note before it appears under a price. No shop can hide a competitor's price or remove a review.
