Bose Pro DM2C-LP Low-Profile Ceiling Speakers (Pair, White) – 2.25″ Full-Range Drivers, 40W Peak, 70/100V & Low-Z Compatible, Slim Design for Discreet Commercial Installations Bose DM2C-LP Ceiling Speakers – Low-Profile, High-Quality Audio in a Sleek White Finish (Pair) The Bose DesignMax DM2C-LP (Low Profile) ceiling speakers in white deliver clear, full-range sound in a compact, ultra-low-profile design that blends beautifully into modern commercial interiors. Sold as a pair , these 2-inch in-ceiling speakers are ideal for environments where aesthetics and space are just as important as sound quality. Perfect for background music, paging, and voice reinforcement , the DM2C-LP offers Bose Professional’s signature audio performance in a small form factor that fits shallow ceilings and tight architectural spaces. Whether you’re installing in a boutique retail store, hotel corridor, office, or upscale hospitality venue, these speakers provide clean, intelligible sound with an unobtrusive visual footprint. Discreet Design with a Modern White Finish The DesignMax DM2C-LP speakers feature an ultra-slim profile with a frameless, magnetic white grille that seamlessly integrates into ceilings of virtually any commercial space. Their compact appearance makes them especially suited for locations with architectural constraints or interior design specifications that require minimal visual disruption . The white grille can be painted to match any ceiling surface, giving designers and installers flexibility to maintain aesthetic consistency. The DM2C-LP’s small footprint also makes it a perfect solution for venues that prioritize visual harmony without sacrificing sound coverage. Full, Natural Sound in a Compact Format Despite their small size, the DM2C-LP speakers produce impressive sound thanks to their 2.25-inch full-range transducer with Bose’s proprietary acoustic design. Optimized for clear, intelligible speech and background music , these speakers deliver full, natural sound that enhances the customer or guest experience across small- to mid-sized zones. Whether you’re playing soft instrumental tracks in a spa or making announcements in a corporate corridor, the DM2C-LP provides consistent coverage and tonal clarity —ideal for speech, music, and ambient audio applications. Wide Dispersion and Smooth Coverage Thanks to a cone design optimized for wide dispersion , each DM2C-LP speaker offers a 130° conical coverage pattern , ensuring that sound is distributed evenly throughout the listening space. Fewer speakers are needed to cover large areas, which simplifies system design and reduces installation and equipment costs. This broad coverage pattern is especially valuable in tight or acoustically challenging environments, where maintaining clarity and consistency throughout a room is essential. Ultra-Low-Profile Depth for Shallow Ceilings A standout feature of the Bose DM2C-LP is its low profile , designed for ceilings with limited plenum space . At just 96 mm (3.8 inches) deep , the DM2C-LP can be installed in ceilings where standard in-ceiling speakers won’t fit, such as in historical buildings, modular offices, or certain hospitality venues with design limitations. This shallow-mount depth gives architects and contractors more flexibility in project planning and layout without compromising audio quality or visual appeal. Easy Installation with QuickHold Mounting System The DM2C-LP pair includes Bose’s QuickHold mounting arms , designed to reduce installation time and effort. Installers simply insert the speaker into the ceiling cutout and let the arms snap into place — no tools required. The system also allows for easy removal and repositioning , reducing risk of damage to ceilings and simplifying maintenance. Each speaker comes with a rear enclosure for plenum-rated installations, a tile bridge for drop-ceiling support, and Euroblock connectors for secure, professional wiring. With everything included in the box, the DM2C-LP ensures a hassle-free installation process , even in challenging environments. Built-in Transformer for 70V/100V and 8-Ohm Operation The Bose DesignMax DM2C-LP speakers are equipped with a built-in multi-tap transformer , enabling them to be used in both high-impedance (70V/100V) distributed audio systems and low-impedance (8-ohm) setups. A front-access tap selector , hidden behind the grille, makes it easy to configure tap settings without removing the speaker from the ceiling. This dual-operating mode provides flexibility for system designers and installers working with mixed audio infrastructures or planning future system upgrades. Commercial-Grade Durability and Compliance The DM2C-LP pair is built with durable, fire-rated materials and meets stringent commercial standards: UL 1480A and UL 2043 certified for plenum spaces CE and RoHS compliant for international projects Designed with integrated thermal and overload protection for long-term reliability These certifications and features ens
