Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens

The Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens is an ultra-wide zoom lens for Canon EOS DSLR cameras with APS-C sensors. It provides a 10-18mm focal range and a variable f/4.5-5.6 aperture. The optical design uses 14 elements in 11 groups. It includes one UD lens element and one aspherical lens element. Also, Canon uses Super Spectra Coating on the optical surfaces. For autofocus, the lens uses an STM drive system. Its minimum focusing distance is 0.22m. Furthermore, the maximum magnification reaches 0.15x. The lens provides optical image stabilization with up to four stops of correction. In addition, it uses a seven-blade circular aperture and accepts 67mm filters. The lens uses Canon’s EF-S mount for compatible APS-C DSLR cameras. Moreover, it supports full-time manual focus during One-Shot AF operation. The lens measures approximately 74.6mm in diameter and 72mm in length. Meanwhile, it weighs approximately 240g. The 10-18mm range provides an ultra-wide field of view. Therefore, it covers several wide-angle focal lengths without changing lenses. The variable aperture ranges from f/4.5 to f/5.6. The lens combines STM autofocus with optical stabilization. Also, its 10mm focal length provides a 16mm-equivalent field of view on Canon APS-C cameras. Manufacturer’s link Check out other options here!
