Canon Rf 35 F1.8

The Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 IS Macro STM Lens is a wide-angle prime lens for Canon EOS R cameras. It has a 35mm focal length and a maximum f/1.8 aperture. The optical design uses 11 elements in nine groups. It includes one aspherical element. Also, the lens uses nine aperture blades and accepts 52mm filters. For autofocus, the lens uses an STM drive system. Its minimum focusing distance is 0.17m. Furthermore, the maximum magnification reaches 0.5x. The lens provides optical image stabilization with up to five stops of correction. It also uses Hybrid IS for close-up focusing. Therefore, the stabilization system supports both standard and macro shooting. The lens includes a customizable control ring for camera settings. In addition, it supports full-time manual focus and uses Canon’s RF mount. The lens measures approximately 74.4mm in diameter and 62.8mm in length. Meanwhile, it weighs approximately 305g. The 35mm focal length provides a wide-angle field of view. The f/1.8 aperture remains fixed because this is a prime lens. Moreover, the 0.5x magnification supports close-up photography. The lens combines STM autofocus, optical stabilization, and macro focusing in one RF-mount design. Also, its 52mm filter size and control ring are part of its specifications.
