Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z Lens

The Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Z is a telephoto zoom lens for Canon EOS R-series cameras. It supports both full-frame and APS-C models. Moreover, it keeps a constant f/2.8 aperture across the zoom range. The lens uses 18 elements in 15 groups. Its optical design includes two Super UD elements, one UD element, and three aspherical elements. In addition, Canon uses ASC, SSC, and fluorine coatings. The lens uses two Nano USM motors for autofocus. They drive two floating focus groups that can work together or separately. Furthermore, the internal focus design helps control focus changes during video recording. Optical image stabilization provides up to 5.5 stops of correction. When paired with a compatible EOS R camera, coordinated stabilization can provide up to 7.5 stops at the center. The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 0.49m at 70mm. At 200mm, the minimum distance is 0.68m. Its maximum magnification reaches 0.3x at 200mm. The lens uses internal zoom and internal focusing. Therefore, its overall length stays fixed during zooming and focusing. It also includes an iris ring for direct aperture control during video recording. Canon provides two programmable lens function buttons, a control ring, and an AF/Control/MF switch. The lens also supports RF 1.4x and RF 2x Extenders. The lens uses an 11-blade aperture and accepts 82mm filters. It measures approximately 88.5 × 199mm. Meanwhile, it weighs about 1,110g in black or 1,115g in white.
