Sony XLR Microphone ECM-XM1

The Sony ECM-XM1 is a professional shotgun microphone. It is built for high-quality audio capture in demanding situations. For this reason, it is the perfect tool for professional video production. This includes ENG, filmmaking, and other broadcast work. To accomplish this, the mic isolates the sound directly in front. As a result, it effectively minimizes distracting background noise. Its sharp directivity in turn gives you clean, intelligible dialogue. It also provides clear sound effects. Ultimately, your final audio mix sounds polished and professional. This performance is achieved through a supercardioid polar pattern. In essence, the mic is highly sensitive to front sounds. It also actively rejects noises from the sides and rear. Furthermore, the ECM-XM1 has a wide frequency response. This helps capture natural and accurate audio reproduction. Additionally, it includes a built-in low-cut filter switch. This feature helps reduce wind noise during field recording. It also cuts other low-frequency rumbles. Finally, the microphone operates on standard 48V phantom power. It connects to pro cameras and recorders with a 3-pin XLR.
