Sigma 18 F2.8

The Sigma 10–18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary is an APS-C ultra-wide zoom lens for mirrorless cameras. It covers an effective 15–27mm focal range on APS-C systems. Therefore, it suits landscapes, travel, interiors, street photography, video, and online content creation. Its constant F2.8 maximum aperture provides consistent brightness throughout the zoom range. Additionally, the lens uses a seven-blade rounded diaphragm and a minimum aperture of F22. This combination supports flexible exposure and depth-of-field control. The optical construction contains 13 elements in 10 groups. It includes three FLD elements, one SLD element, and four aspherical elements. Furthermore, Sigma designed the optics to control aberrations while maintaining high resolution in a compact body. The minimum focusing distance starts at 11.6cm at 10mm and reaches 19.1cm at 18mm. The maximum magnification ratio is 1:4 at the wide end. Moreover, the lens uses a stepping motor for autofocus and is designed to minimize focus breathing. The lens has a 67mm filter size and uses a push-on petal-type LH706-02 hood. Dimensions and weight vary by mount. For the Fujifilm X Mount version, it measures 72.2 × 64.3mm and weighs 250g.
