Canon Rf 24 F1.8

The Canon RF 24mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM Lens is a wide-angle prime lens for Canon EOS R cameras. It has a 24mm focal length and a maximum f/1.8 aperture. The optical design uses 11 elements in nine groups. It includes one UD element and one aspherical element. Also, Canon uses Super Spectra Coating on the lens. For autofocus, the lens uses an STM drive system. Its minimum focusing distance is 0.14m. Furthermore, the maximum magnification reaches 0.5x. The lens provides optical image stabilization with up to six stops of correction. With compatible cameras, coordinated control can provide additional stabilization. In addition, the lens uses Hybrid IS for close-up focusing. The lens includes a customizable control ring for camera settings. It also supports full-time manual focus. Moreover, the RF mount provides compatibility with Canon EOS R cameras. The lens uses nine aperture blades and accepts 52mm filters. It measures approximately 74.4mm in diameter and 63.1mm in length. Meanwhile, it weighs approximately 270g. The 24mm focal length provides a wide-angle view on full-frame cameras. The f/1.8 aperture remains fixed throughout use. Therefore, the lens combines a wide field of view with macro capability. The 0.5x maximum magnification supports close-up photography. Also, the lens combines STM autofocus, optical stabilization, and a control ring in its RF-mount design. Manufacturer’s link Check out other options here!
