Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM Lens

Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM is a 10x optical zoom lens for Canon EOS R series cameras. Its 24-240mm range covers wide-angle and telephoto focal lengths in one lens. Therefore, it suits travel, everyday photography, landscapes, portraits, and video. The lens uses a variable maximum aperture of f/4-6.3. It combines 21 elements in 15 groups, including one aspherical element and two UD elements. Moreover, it uses seven circular aperture blades for its diaphragm. Built-in optical image stabilization provides up to five stops of shake correction under Canon’s specified test conditions. Additionally, Dynamic IS supports video recording with compatible EOS R cameras. This helps reduce camera movement during handheld shooting. The Nano USM focusing system provides fast and smooth autofocus for still photography. It also operates quietly during video recording. Furthermore, the lens supports full-time manual focusing in compatible AF modes. The minimum focusing distance is 0.50 meters at 24mm and 0.78 meters at 240mm. The maximum magnification reaches 0.26x at the 240mm focal length. Therefore, the lens can also focus on relatively close subjects. A combined focus and control ring provides direct setting adjustments. Depending on the compatible camera, it can control settings such as shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation. The lens also uses Canon’s 12-pin communication system for high-speed camera communication. The lens accepts 72mm filters and measures approximately 80.4mm in diameter and 122.5mm in length. It weighs approximately 750g. As a result, the design provides a broad zoom range while keeping the lens relatively compact for a full-frame 10x zoom. Manufacturer’s link Check out other options here!
