With its tall, elegant silhouette and refined finishes, the Theva N°3 adds both sonic richness and visual sophistication to any interior. Precision Through Three-Way Engineering At the heart of the Theva N°3 lies a three-way driver design , delivering a balanced and articulate soundstage. This configuration ensures that each frequency band is handled by a specialized driver, resulting in superior clarity, tonal separation, and depth . Two dedicated 6.5″ Slatefiber woofers produce deep, well-controlled bass, a separate 6.5″ midrange ensures expressive vocals and instruments, while the 1″ TNF aluminum/magnesium tweeter provides smooth and extended high-frequency detail. Together, these components create a vivid and natural sound signature. Slatefiber Cone Technology – Made in France Focal’s proprietary Slatefiber cone technology is a key element behind the Theva N°3’s dynamic and accurate sound. Developed and manufactured in Focal’s workshops in Saint-Étienne, France, the Slatefiber cone is composed of recycled non-woven carbon fibers combined with a thermoplastic polymer. This composition offers an ideal mix of lightness, rigidity, and damping , allowing for rapid response with minimal distortion—essential for revealing the subtle textures and transients in music. Exceptional Performance Across the Frequency Spectrum With a wide frequency response from 48Hz to 28kHz and a sensitivity of 91 dB , the Theva N°3 is capable of filling medium to large spaces with ease, delivering deep lows, lush mids, and crisp highs. Whether driven by a high-quality stereo amplifier or integrated into a home cinema system, the speaker’s responsiveness and imaging precision make it equally suited for casual listening and critical audio experiences. From jazz and classical to electronic or rock, every genre comes alive with presence and emotion. Designed for Aesthetic and Acoustic Harmony The Theva N°3 is as visually refined as it is sonically advanced. Its tall, slim cabinet features a slight tilt (Time Alignment) that ensures all frequencies arrive at the listener’s ear simultaneously—enhancing realism and coherence. Focal has paid great attention to the details: the speaker includes a magnetic grille , an aluminum base with adjustable spikes for stability and decoupling, and a choice of finishes including Black , Dark Wood , and Light Wood to blend seamlessly into any interior style. The Foundation of a Complete Hi-Fi or Home Cinema System Theva N°3 serves as a powerful anchor in a stereo system or as the front channels in a multichannel home theater setup.
