Fujifilm Xf 50 F2

The Fujifilm XF 50mm F2 R WR is a compact medium-telephoto prime lens for Fujifilm X Series cameras. Its 50mm focal length provides a 76mm equivalent field of view. Therefore, it suits portrait photography and other subjects that benefit from a narrower perspective. The F2 maximum aperture supports subject separation and background blur. Additionally, the nine-blade rounded diaphragm provides 19 aperture steps in 1/3 EV increments. This gives direct control over exposure and depth of field. The optical design uses 9 elements in 7 groups. It includes one aspherical ED element to help control spherical and chromatic aberrations. Meanwhile, the inner focusing system uses a stepping motor for fast and near-silent autofocus. The lens focuses from 39cm to infinity and provides a maximum magnification of 0.15x. Moreover, the aperture and focusing rings feature precise click stops and smooth damping. The design also uses metal parts extensively across the exterior. The weather-resistant construction uses sealing at ten points around the barrel. It resists dust and moisture and can operate at temperatures down to -10°C. Finally, the lens measures approximately 60 × 59.4mm and weighs only 200g, excluding caps and hood. Manufacturer’s link Check out other options here!
