Product Description The Tefal OptiGrill 2-in-1 XL (GC78MD28) is the most versatile configuration in the OptiGrill range — combining the indoor smart sensor contact grill with an outdoor BBQ mode that opens the grill out flat for single-surface open grilling. The 2-in-1 dual mode allows the sensor-guided indoor contact grill to be used in the kitchen, then reconfigured as a flat open grill for outdoor terrace or balcony use where a contact grill format is less appropriate. The XL plate size provides family-scale cooking capacity in both configurations, and the OptiGrill’s automatic thickness sensor and colour-coded doneness indicator operate in the indoor contact mode. The outdoor open-flat mode provides a charcoal-BBQ-style cooking surface with electric heating — convenient for outdoor cooking occasions without the charcoal setup, fuel cost, or cleanup of traditional outdoor BBQ.
