Candy COHS 45EB Under-Counter Fridge – 109 Litres of Classic Cooling in Compact Black Get reliable, no-fuss refrigeration in a space-saving design with the Candy COHS 45EB, a 109-litre single-door freestanding fridge with a built-in 4-star freezer compartment, all wrapped in a sleek black finish that stands just 85 cm tall. Designed by Candy, part of the Haier Group and a leading European appliance brand for over 75 years, this classic under-counter refrigerator is the perfect solution for small kitchens, studio apartments, office kitchenettes, guest rooms, and as a dedicated secondary fridge for beverages and extras. With a 95-litre fridge section, a 14-litre freezer compartment, glass shelving, and a built-in ice tray, the COHS 45EB delivers everything you need for everyday cooling in a compact, affordable package. 109 Litres: Fridge and Freezer in One Compact Body The COHS 45EB packs a 95-litre fridge compartment and a 14-litre top-mounted freezer section into a single-door body that fits neatly under any standard kitchen counter. The fridge section features 2 glass shelves (1 adjustable) for flexible storage configurations, 3 door balconies in crystal-clear plastic for bottles, condiments, and dairy, and a crisper drawer at the bottom for fruits and vegetables. The 4-star freezer compartment at the top provides enough space for ice cubes, frozen vegetables, small meat portions, and ice cream. An included ice tray lets you produce ice without a dedicated icemaker, a practical touch for everyday Lebanese living where cold drinks and ice are essential. Under-Counter 85 cm Height: Fits Anywhere Standing at exactly 85 cm tall, 55 cm wide, and 58 cm deep, the COHS 45EB slides perfectly under standard kitchen countertops, making it ideal for small Lebanese apartments in Beirut and Jounieh where kitchen space is at a premium. This counter-height design also makes it perfect as a secondary fridge positioned in a dining area, a home bar, a utility room, or alongside a full-size refrigerator during holidays and large family gatherings when extra cold storage is needed. The reversible door hinge allows left or right opening to suit your kitchen layout, and the comfortable integrated handle provides easy access with a clean exterior profile. Glass Shelving with Automatic Fridge Defrost The tempered glass shelves with white frames are easy to clean, resistant to stains, and strong enough to hold heavy items like large water bottles and serving dishes. The adjustable shelf can be repositioned to create space for taller items like pitchers, cake containers, or stacked food containers. The fridge section features automatic defrost, meaning condensation is managed without manual intervention, keeping the interior dry and the cooling system efficient. The freezer compartment uses manual defrost, which is standard for this size category and requires only occasional attention. 40 dB Quiet Operation with 10-Hour Power Failure Protection At 40 dB with a Class C noise emission rating, the COHS 45EB runs quietly enough for bedrooms, study rooms, and open-plan living spaces. The static cooling system operates without a fan, contributing to the low noise profile. In the event of a power outage, the insulated freezer compartment maintains safe temperatures for up to 10 hours, providing valuable peace of mind during Lebanon’s electricity interruptions. This extended storage protection means your frozen food stays safe even during prolonged power cuts between grid and generator switchovers.
