Sigma 45 F1.8 For Sony

The Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN Art Lens is a full-frame zoom lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It covers a 28-45mm focal range with a constant f/1.8 maximum aperture. The optical design uses 18 elements in 15 groups. It includes five SLD elements and three aspherical elements. Also, Sigma uses Nano Porous Coating and Super Multi-Layer Coating. For autofocus, the lens uses an HLA high-response linear actuator. It provides a minimum focusing distance of 30cm across the full zoom range. Furthermore, maximum magnification reaches 1:4 at 45mm. The lens uses an inner zoom mechanism. Therefore, its overall length stays constant while zooming. In addition, the lens has an 11-blade rounded diaphragm and a minimum aperture of f/16. The lens includes an aperture ring with click and lock switches. It also has AFL buttons and a focus ring. Moreover, the focus ring uses a by-wire system for manual focusing. The lens accepts 82mm filters. It measures approximately 87.8mm in diameter and 153.4mm in length for Sony E-mount. Meanwhile, it weighs approximately 950g. The lens has a weather-resistant structure. Also, Sigma designed the lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its constant f/1.8 aperture remains available throughout the 28-45mm zoom range.
