Tefal Express Airglide Steam Generator Iron 2800W

The Tefal Express Airglide SV8020 (SV8020G0) is engineered to significantly reduce ironing time while delivering professional crease removal. Powered by a high-output 2800W heating system (2380–2830W rated), the generator heats up in just 2 minutes and utilizes a 6.6 bar water pump to produce a consistent continuous steam output of 120 g/min alongside an intense 450 g/min steam boost for thick fabrics and rigid creases. Equipped with intelligent No-Setting technology , the iron operates at a calibrated temperature-to-steam combination suitable for all ironable fabrics—allowing seamless transitions from tough denim to delicate silk without manual dial adjustments and zero risk of burning. An integrated Eco Mode delivers fast results while reducing overall energy consumption by up to 20%. Gliding performance is driven by Tefal’s premium Durilium Airglide soleplate , offering maximum scratch resistance and continuous steam distribution across the tip, sides, and center. The soleplate incorporates a precision tip designed to navigate around buttons, collars, and seams effortlessly. The unit also supports vertical steaming for quick touch-ups on suits, curtains, and hanging garments. Maintenance is hassle-free thanks to the built-in Scale Draining System . When the scale alert indicator activates, flushing out mineral deposits requires only pressing the descaling button for 3 seconds—eliminating the need for recurring filter cartridges. The generous 1.8 L removable water tank supports continuous refilling during use, while integrated cord storage keeps both the power lead and steam hose neatly organized.
